3Gs OS4.01 missing "Cellular Data Tab" - how to restore

This is an addition to my other post titled "Edge works but not 3G". The Mexico Telcel SIM causes the "Cellular Data Tab" to be hidden. I wanted to make sure the Data settings are correct. Here is one method to restore that missing tab.

Works on 3Gs v4.01 (Performed Jailbreak with www.Jailbreakme.com and unlocked with ultrasn0w)  

1. Open cydia and install winterboard
2. add source: http://cydia.xsellize dot com
3. Search for Supreme Preferences 3.0 and install
4. Open Winterboard - Select Themes - Tick the Supreme Preferences 3.0, then Winterboard - respring.
4. Then go to settings
5. click supreme preferences tab and go to applications, then go to Phone.
6. Turn Cellular data Editing: On
7. Click home, than settings
8. General, network, and the "Cellular Data Network" tab should be there.

Note. Once the Tab shows you can remove Winterboard, Supreme Preferences etc and the "Cellar Data tab" stays.

This has not helped my original question about Edge and 3G, but at least I know my APN settings are correct.

Search Cydia or The Rock for an app named APN Editing.
This app permanently unhides the Cellular Data tab.
At the moment it does not work with 4.0.1 (works well with 3.1.2 though).

I don't recall whether using the Unlockit method unhides the tab or just sets the appropriate settings.

At the moment  I don't see the missing tab.
