with the old 3.1.x firmware unlockit's profiles worked like a charm, and I was able to activate and deactivate my iphone 3g data connection, simply deleting or installing FakeAPN profile, after had installed my carrier profile (yes, I had 2 profile!).
Since I upgraded to 4.0, and then to 4.0.1, I deleted FakeAPN profile (I used iOs 4.x integrated "disable data" option), and kept only my carrier profile, and never tried 3G network navigation (my bad...
).
A few days ago, I noticed the profile has expired (21 july 2010...) and I couldn't connect to internet. I thought the problem was the expiration date, so this morning back to work I tried to install an updated profile (after deleting the old one), but I was getting an error.
I tried with the mail + iPhone Configuration Utility way, but i got the same error (I even tried a profile made on my own...).
In spite of the fact I had no profile installed, the iPhone keeps telling me that the profile cannot be installed since "Only one APN configuration at a time can be installed" (it may be not the exact sentence, since I'm italian and my iPhone speaks italian too!
But i have no profile installed!
Any suggestion is welcome!
