Push Notification Issue

Hey there,
I'm a New Zealand Iphone user on XT with a normal data plan(not Iphone specific).
My Iphone is a 3G American import, unlocked/jailbroken on IOS4.0

I've been having issues with what I assume to be push notifications.
- GPS signal isn't picked up and Youtube doesn't work. However no issues with WiFi.

I've tried installing Push Doctor through cydia with two different repo's but it won't install, just keep getting errors(checked and there are heaps of spare certificates).

I do a lot of set netting and field work which requires a GPS so would really like to get it going as soon as possible.

Any solutions?

This is one of the issues with jailbreaking your iPhone. It can cause lots of random issues like this..

I have no solution rather than restore and then jailbreak again.

There are many ways of jailbreaking depending on what version you are running so I can't give any solution on this.

I am running ios4.0 and would like to restore to ios4.0 but am unsure how to do so without updating to ios4.0
I've tried Umbrella but it doesn't reckon I have saved my SHSH blobs in cydia(yet 4.0, 4.0.1, 4.0.2 show as saved in cydia) but i'm sure I pressed the 'Make my Life Easier' button.
Would really appreciate some help with restoring WITHOUT updating iOS.
