iPhone APN Changer

Charlie :just got my iPhone 4 today, AT&T locked 32GB, it worked perfectly with my phone, no issues.

Charlie I have the same phone on ATT. I can install the profile but once I do under Settings -> Network -> I have no options for ‘Tethering’ any longer. This used to work fine on my 3GS. How do you get the option to use tethering again?
Admins – Any help on this? I’ve seen multiple people mention that the tethering option disappears once installing the profile on IOS4 or iphone4’s in general. Any advice would be much appreciated.
Trying the email install now…..

Email install produces the same results I mentioned in the post above. If you remove the profile you get the ATT tethering options back, which we want to avoid obviously…

Tethering can be enabled, but does require quite the workaround, involving patching the commcenter, rolling a new bundle, and having ultrasn0w on your device. http://xsellize.com/topic/72125-patched-commcenter-for-ios4-on-iphone-3g3gs/ and http://www.hackint0sh.org/f236/145148.htm are the relavent threads out there. It does work however complicated it might seem.

Hey ! Iused your site and works absolutely gorgeous . You just have to keep in mind that you must install your APN settings via MAIL .
I have At&T phone working on Romania Orange (Data , MMs everything)

After reading this forum, it is still unclear for me if the Iphone 4 will work with APN settings from your website.. I plan to purchase a locked ATT Iphone 4 but use my company’s ATT sim with a non-iphone data plan then use the APN settings from your website. I will cancel the ATT iphone data plan after purchasing the phone and I plan to cut down my company’s minisim to microsim size to fit into the Iphone 4. Pls. advise my chances on making this work or should I wait a while until there is a better solution.

Admin, This is my problem, I can access internet and e-mail via APN only through a proxy server, but since I upgraded to OS4 it is no loger working.
OS 4.0.1 and ICU 3 were supposed to solve the problem, but when I try to connect to my corporate APN I no longer receive POP UP asking for password….
I don’t know wether it is OS 4.0.1 not to read correctly the profile or ICU 3 not compatible with OS 4.0.1
SO I wonder if your web app is better that ICU 3 and capable of setting also proxy server.
I wish I never upgraded to OS4…..

I am unable to access your software via cydia and safari.. I recieve error messages with both. I have also tried the email. I have an old blue sim card from AT&T. My voice plan works but not my edge data plan. For some reason I cant get to the APN settings to change them. I have a 3g on OS4.0. Please help. I had a 3gs that was jailbroken and unlocked as well and I was able to access your software on that phone. I purchased it from someone and it worked. I deleted some files that corrupted the phone so I had to get another one…this one. And I can access the apn files. Please help!!!!

Hi, I recently purchased iphone4, on which I restored the backup of a 3G with a fake APN. Now I can not remove the fake apn, even doing all the tests listed above, can i edit or delete the package via SSH? Thanks for answer

profile failed to install only one APN configuration can be installed at a time:
Upgrade to IOS4 using Pwnage and working fine. I don’t see Profile under Settings->General and when I try to replace profile, it says ” profile failed to install only one APN configuration can be installed at a time” ?
Any idea ? I tried using “Iphone Configuration Utility” and created new profile and when tried to install , it gave same issue. I still dont see Profile tab under Settings->General.
