We are looking for investors to this website. The website has been running for nearly 2 years now (The first website to offer the APN changing service).
Investment will go into updating the look at feel of the website to have more of a professional look and help promote the service over the internet for users of the iphone.

Last time I looked on youtube there was 3 videos explaining about unlockit.co.nz and what the website/service was all about. Now there are a lot more.

I am developing an IPCC (Carrier Bundle) Generator which should be available soon. There are a couple of others available on the internet at the moment but they are not fully compatible with the latest iPhone 3.1.3 software and a little hard to use. It is in development at the moment so is not pubiclly working at the moment but over the next week or two it will be made public. If you have any ideas/suggestions please let me know.
It is HERE but the main form will not give any carrier bundle as of yet. It looks quite ugly at the moment, has no real formatting, but will continue development.
A carrier bundle sets all the options for a carrier such as custom icons, links, voicemail settings, APN settings, MMS Settings and alot of other options which cannot be set with a mobileconfig.
The Method for making Carrier Bundles (with tethering enabled) for carrier unlocked iphones with unofficial SIMS has been found for 3.1.3 .
This means you can have a carrier bundle (logo’s, links, Data,Tethering APN’s filled in, SMS settings filled in etc). See forum on instructions on how to install them correctly (IPCC Section)
This means carrier bundles for 2Degrees and XT for New Zealand can be done with Tethering enabled for 3.1.3 iPhones (yay). These and other carrier bundles coming soon..

Yes Officially unlocked iPhones (such as sold in New Zealand) will work with any other unofficial carriers SIM and Tethering Works
No released jailbreak as of yet for the 3GS

I have had quite a number of requests on how I sign my profiles so they come up with then listed a Verified when they are installed. Well it is pretty simple (after I worked out how it was done).

A method of “hacking” the 3G/3GS for tethering has been found but you need to be jail broken 1st.
Instructions are HERE and I accept no responsibility if it breaks your iPhone (you may have to reinstall again if you break it).

It simply removes the test for testing for the tethering signature thus enabling tethering on your iPhone 3G/3GS on 3.1.2 firmware.
After you have done this go to http://www.unlockit.co.nz on your iPhone and download the config for your carrier.
Apple have released V3.0.1 which is just a small upgrade to V3.0 which fixes a bug with SMS’s which allowed certain SMS messages to crash your iPhone.
Apple have released V3.1 Beta’s (V3.0b3 is the latest) for Developers to test out. The V3.1 Beta’s now disable Tethering for non-supported Carriers so when it goes out of beta tethering on AT&T and other non supported carriers will be disabled and the mobileconfig and ipcc carrier files no longer works.
